If you're an iPhone user, chances are the latest software update has caused your phone to have issues. The problem has been reported far and wide, with many iPhone owners taking to message boards to discuss a common issue -- a battery issue that causes the phone to shut down. The community section on the apple website spans across 12 pages of users expressing concern over their battery displaying a 30 percent charge before abruptly dropping to 1 percent and shutting off. Another issue noted during the upgrade is Apple Earpods appear to be malfunctioning while users are on the phone. Resetting the phone seems to help momentarily, but for the most part, the earpods are now unusable during calls. With iOS 10.2 due out within the next couple of weeks, iPhone users everywhere are hoping the new update will resolve the two issues noted above.
